Liliane Becker de Miranda was born in Erfurt/ Germany. After finishing her college degree in Early Childhood Education, Liliane moved to the United States. For 9 years she and her Brazilian husband lived near Boston/ Massachusetts before moving to Brazil in 2009. In 2010 the couple moved to London/England. Liliane worked at the German International School in Boston where she taught younger children German culture as well as the beauty of art. Ever since she was a little girl Liliane has been surrounded by art. Her father was the one who bought her first easel and her mother, who loved to paint too, told her daughter many stories about famous painters and their extraordinary lives. Liliane became more and more passionate about oil painting while living abroad. In her free time she spent many hours in galleries in New York City, Boston, San Francisco  and London to study her favourite painters C. Monet, V.van Gogh and G. Klimt. Liliane has developed her own style in her oil paintings over the last years.

She participated in Group Exhibitions in Marlborough/ USA and Erfurt/ Germany and had her own show in Boston and London. The Boston Art Show held by Liliane and her very good friend Heidi Schlager was a great success, and many paintings found a new home.

I am fascinated by art and I love to paint. I find my inspiration in the beauty of nature, the change of light and music. I need to express my emotions on the canvas and that happens most of the time at night, when everyone is asleep. And thanks to my husband, who is my biggest supporter, I'll never run out of paint.

Painting has become my passion."
